A GOLD Coast business is riding to the rescue of pooches who feel paw-ly in cars.
Dogs Out Doing’s canine booster seats have set tails wagging among dog-lovers whose pups yelp for help on trips out.
Owner Jenny Ross said the seats give smaller dogs a view out the window and provide stability which helps prevent car sickness.
“They can be a huge relief for the driver because they know their dog is secure and safe and they won’t be distracted when driving,” Ms Ross said.
“They are much happier being able to see out the window and are very comfortable in their seat.”
Ms Ross sells 4-5 seats a week but said she has never advertised her business.
“This is a new thing for me — I am so passionate about it so I knew it (the business) would go well,” she said.
“I just want to make every little doggie happier.”
Ms Ross is expanding her business into pet chauffeuring. Using her booster seats, Ms Ross said the premium service will cater to pets’ busy lifestyles in air conditioned comfort with “calming music”.
“Pets have their unique personalities and each like to be treated their own special way,” she said.
“I love animals and I want to put in that extra special care if you’re running late and need your pet picked up from doggie day care.”
